COLLEGE RULES

1. The academic session of the college is from June to May classes will commence after it is notified by the principal.

2. Admission to the different classes begins after the publication of the results of various examinations till the date as prescribed by N.O.U. & Govt. of Odisha .

3. Astudents should apply to the principal in the form prescribed for the purpose of E- admission to the college within the specified date on notified by the Govt. of Higher Education.

4. Undertaking:
Before a student is admitted to the college he /she or his / her guardian (if he/she is below 18 years of age) has to sign an under taking in specified form to the effect that the student shall abide by the rules of the College. (Vide Article 106 of the O.E.C).

5. Each student must register in the college office the address at which he lives; any charge in the address must be intimated to the office in writing.

6. Identity Card :
Students are advised to always keep with them their Identity Cards which will entitle them to all privileges of college students.
i) A students taking T.C. or C.L.C in the middle of the year shall submit his/her Identity Card in the College office.
ii) No duplicate Identity Card can ordinarily be issued.*
iii) The Identity Card shall be surrendered in the college office as and when the Principal so desires.
iv) If a student loses his Identity Card another duplicate will be issued to him / her on application and payment of Rs.50/-and the student also will have to give a photograph for his/ her purpose.

7. How to submit the application :
i) All written application addressed to the Principal should ordinarily be submitted through the respective H.O.Ds in whose absence the applications may be sent through the next senior teacher of the concerned department.
ii) All applications of routine shall be put in a locked book, keep for the purpose in front of the Principal's office between 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. working days.

8. Interviews Hours:
Students should not ordinarily enter into the college office staff common Room and Principal's office without permission. Only the student at a time may be permitted to have this interview with the Principal after prior permission.

9. Private Club or Team :
No bonafide students of the college can join any outside club or society without prior permission of the Principal and also an undertaking by his father or natural guardian.

10. Payment of fees and_Fine_:
i) Fees must be paid before 2 P.M on the days fixed for their collection otherwise a fine of Rs. 5.00 will be collected on the last working day of the month along with the fees. Names of the defaulters will be struck off the college roll and re-admission would involve an additional payment of one month's tuition fess / re-admission fee.
ii) Any fine imposed on the students will be realised along with the tuition fees.
iii) Exemption from default fine or re-admission fee cannot be I claimed by students. It solely rests on the discretion of the j Principal.
iv) All other fees and fines including the tuition fees are to be| collected from the student's before they are allowed to up the application form for the University Examination, as the case may be.
v) Results of promotion to the next higher class will be wrthhelcl for students who have not cleared up their college dues.

11. CLS.. T,C. Conduct Certificate , Mark_sheet:
i) Students intending to apply for CLS., T.C, conduct certificate from and mark sheet etc. need apply in the prescribed form obtainable from college office.
ii) The application is to be submitted three clear days before the certificate is wanted by the student.
iii) Fees payable certificate.
a) Transfer Certificate original Equivalent to one month's tution fee.
b) Mark-Sheet (Duplicate) Rs. 25.00
c) Conduct certificate (Duplicate) -Rs 20.00
d) Processing Fee - Rs 10.00

12.Fees payable for charge of subject:
Charge of subject will allowed on payment of Rs 20/-provided an applicant fulfils all other conditions.

13. Cycle Stand:
Cycle must be padlocked and kept in the Cycle Stand -students parking cycles elsewhere inside the college campus shall be penalised or the cycle may be sent to the police station as unclaimed property.

14. Discipline General: V,
i) Students are expected to conduct themselves in manner that will not tarnish the good name of their alma mater.
ii) Regular attendance, maintenance of silence in the class room college library, proper use of leisure hours , healthy participation in the activities of college provide a sense of belonging to Institution.
iii) Every student is expected to wear neat gentle dress and be potte and gentle in his/her manner and speech.
IV) Students should treat fellow students as brothers and sisters and their teachers and guardians as superiors.
v) Students should not be rude to the office staff not behave wrth them in a discourteous manner, Any complaint regarding official lapses should be brought to the notice of the Principal.
vi) Students are forbidden to ride motorcycle, scooters and two wheelers within the campus during the college hour. They will be penalised if found to do so.
vii) The college exists for the purpose of education, sports, games and cultural activities and politics in College should always be dealt with in a scholarly way in the form of lecturers and thoughtful address. The Principal may however prohibit students from attending a political meeting.
viii) Students should stand in a queue while depositing the college dues, Issue-Receive of Library books or for any other purpose.
ix) Students should not leave the hall in the midst of any of the college meetings unless it is absolutely necessary.
x) Free studentships and aids from the S.S.G., S.A.F. Scholarships and other financial assistances may be withdrawn from a student if he/she is found irregular in attending classes or examinations or if he/she is involved in any act of indiscipline.
xi) Mobile phone is prohibited for students. However they can use public pay phone Rs. 21- provided in the outside campus or can use Principal's Phone on request.

15. Lecture, Tutorials and Practical:
As soon as the Tutorial / Practical groups are formed a students must find out which group he /she has been assigned. If student is not assigned to any group, he /she should bring of the immediate notice of the Prof, -in-charge of the time table. 16. A student of the college must lead a disciplined life and also abide by such hygienic principles and submit himself herself to such anti-epidemic procedure as would be laid down by the Principal.

17. i) Students must be in the class room before the Lecture enters the class and be attentive.
ii) Girls students should be allowed to occupy seats in the front rows or seats provided separately for them.
iii) Students not connected with a lecture should not assemble in front of the lecture-hall not make noise in the vicinity.
iv) Students are forbidden to loiter on the college verandah when classes are going on.
v) Students coming late and seeking permission to attend the class may be allowed at the discretion of the concerned lecture.

18. Address
E.eo students most register his / her address in the college office. Any subsequent change his/ her address most be intimated to the office In writing immediately.

19. Leave
All students awho wish to obtain leave of absence from the college must apply for it before they actually absent themselves. In special causes such as illness or on urgent journey where it is not possible to obtain (eave in advance, an application for grant of leave may be sent by post or messenger.

20. Health
Students most abide by such hygienic principals and submit themselves to such anti epidemic measures as would be laid down by the Principal from time to time.
